About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Communications to join their mission of transforming the global narrative on climate. The successful candidate will be a senior leader, responsible for driving a high-impact communications strategy that amplifies the organization's voice, elevates its brand, and mobilizes audiences. This role involves leading corporate and rapid-response communications efforts, packaging and distributing compelling narratives, and proactively positioning the organization's leaders in key moments. The Head of Communications will also be at the forefront of integrating AI and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains innovative and effective in the ever-evolving media landscape.

Applicants for the Head of Communications position at the company should be bold, strategic communicators with a vision to shape culture and a proven track record in media relations, narrative development, and influencer strategy. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' of experience in strategic communications, including 4 years' of team management, and a deep understanding of the media landscape, including social media. Political and advocacy experience, particularly in the climate policy discourse, is preferred. The role requires a proactive, independent work style, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. The Head of Communications will be expected to have outstanding written and oral communication skills, be adept at problem-solving, and be a collaborative, coalition-building partner.
