About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Real Estate Counsel to join its legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal activities related to commercial real estate assets and transactions. This includes the drafting, review, and negotiation of various commercial leasing agreements, advising on real estate finance and lending transactions, and providing legal guidance on acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures. The role also involves supporting due diligence efforts, managing legal risk, and overseeing external counsel as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an accredited law school, be an active member of a U.S. state bar, and have at least 7 years' of commercial real estate experience, with a strong background in commercial leasing, real estate finance, and lending transactions.
