What We Need
Reporting to the VP, Integrated Marketing, your mission is to define and lead an always-on community management and digital content strategy that strengthens player engagement, advocacy, and loyalty across all core titles. You will oversee the development of cohesive content ecosystems and community programs that support our brands year-round—beyond launch campaigns—building enduring relationships with players and creators worldwide. The role will be based in our Novato, CA or Culver City, CA offices, with occasional travel to partners and global offices to foster collaboration with local teams.
What You Will Do
Build Vibrant Fandoms and Enduring Player Relationships
- Lead The Content Strategy, Community, and Social Teams: Guide the digital content, social, community, and creator marketing leads, working as one holistic team within Integrated Marketing and in partnership with Brand leadership of the four Franchise Groups.
- Represent the Voice of the Player: Foster deep relationships between players and franchises, influencing product and marketing roadmaps; develop and implement platform-specific global social, community, and creator strategies to increase presence and promote positive sentiment.
- Player-First Approach: Partner with Player Insights and Data Analytics to map platform strategies to audience segments, ensuring content resonates and drives engagement; develop and implement platform-specific global social media strategies.
- Growth & Engagement Focus: Define clear growth and engagement goals for each platform and track progress for campaigns and evergreen community health; identify emerging trends and platforms.
- Platform Mastery: Lead presence across Steam, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitch, Discord, Reddit, and YouTube.
- Content Innovation: Manage the global content development calendar and prioritize platform-exclusive content; educate the organization on the value of social marketing within the marketing funnel.
- Data-Driven Decisions and Reporting: Own analytics across social platforms, using insights to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement via testing.
- Organic & Paid Synergy: Partner with go-to-market and media teams to develop cohesive organic and paid strategies across digital platforms.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Brand, Go-to-Market, Product, and Creative teams to test platform features aligned with global strategy.
- Team Leadership: Develop and scale a team of community managers, social media experts, platform specialists and copywriters; contribute to Integrated Marketing strategies across 2K.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $209,500 and $310,060 per year. Base pay offered is based on market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. The total compensation package may include bonuses and/or equity, plus eligibility for our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program. Regular, full-time employees are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance; 14 paid holidays per year; paid vacation (15–25 days); up to 10 paid sick days; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs; Maven family planning support; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.
