
We are conducting a confidential search for a Sales Manager with a client company of ours that is a global supplier to the automotive, aerospace, and defense markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is based around Muskegon, MI.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, lead and develop support team of Customer Service Representatives
Manage day-to-day customer communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming orders
Maintain/control inventory levels for finished goods as directed by management
Track/expedite production orders
Assist accounting with collections
Perform order entry/understand guidelines of contract review
Monitor sales metrics and provide sales forecast
Perpetuate sales bookings through direct contact and technical liaison with customers
Collecting Sales Forecast data from Sales team and reporting progress on a weekly basis to Sales Director
Propose strategic sales activities based on customer demand and internal capacity
Report on customer sales trends to Sales and senior leadership

Candidates should possess the following qualifications
3 to 10 years experience as a Sales Manager and/or Sr. Account Manager in a manufacturing environment
Product experience with highly engineered components is a plus
