Hotel Sales Manager Location:

Downtown Houston, TX Salary:

$90,000 + 20% Bonus

The Opportunity We are looking for a results-oriented Sales & Operations Manager to oversee revenue performance and operational effectiveness for a premier serviced apartment property located in downtown Houston. This position is ideal for a strategic professional with a demonstrated ability to drive occupancy within the extended‑stay segment.

In this role, you will serve as a central leader responsible for both business development and guest experience, balancing ambitious sales objectives with smooth operational execution. The successful candidate will bring 3–5 years of focused hospitality sales experience along with strong analytical skills to compete effectively in a dynamic marketplace.

Key Performance Areas Revenue Optimization & Strategy

Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve and surpass revenue goals

Evaluate market intelligence to refine positioning and tactical sales approaches

Review occupancy daily and adjust pricing and inventory strategies to optimize yield

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, relocation firms, and travel management companies

Oversee the full sales cycle from lead inquiry through contract negotiation while ensuring client expectations are met

Operational Leadership

Partner closely with Hotel Operations, Housekeeping, and Front Office teams to maintain 100% service delivery standards

Proactively address guest feedback and implement solution‑based service recovery

Maintain property standards aligned with modern design and efficient operations

Data-Driven Marketing

Utilize CRM systems to monitor sales activity, manage pipelines, and forecast business growth

Work alongside marketing partners to launch digital campaigns that build awareness and capture new demand segments

Prepare detailed reports for senior leadership outlining performance and ROI on sales initiatives

Candidate Profile

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years in extended‑stay, limited‑service, or full‑service hotel sales

Track Record:

Proven success in exceeding sales quotas and increasing year‑over‑year revenue

Technical Skills:

Experience with CRM platforms, digital marketing tools, and hospitality property management systems

Soft Skills:

Exceptional negotiation and presentation abilities with the capability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
