What You'll Do
We're looking for a Communications Strategist to join the Customer Care Communications team. This role will be responsible for developing innovative strategic recommendations that effectively engage and activate target customer markets on operational communications.
Here are some examples of what you'll be doing:
Develop internal and external communication strategies for complex operational initiatives
Collaborate with business partners to develop strategic communication plans that include, timing, tactics and key messages for multiple audiences (internal, advisor, TPA, plans sponsor, participant)
Influence leaders and decision makers to gain strategic commitment
Cultivate a deep understanding and application of market research, competitive trends, dynamics and regulations
Track, analyze and communicate results

Who You Are
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of communications strategy experience preferably with financial services / retirement industry internal audiences
A solid understanding of communication or marketing strategy.
Experience developing strategic programs that deliver measurable results.
The ability to turn data and insights into clear recommendations.
Strong critical thinking and the ability to align stakeholders around a unified message.
A general understanding of customer journeys, competitive trends, and customer experience.
Skills that will help you stand out:
Project management experience.
Experience with Wrike and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, negotiation, planning, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
Be results driven and detail oriented with the ability to manage change in a dynamic environment.
Job Level
We're open to considering talent at the Sr Strategist level based on experience and skills.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Sr Strategist: $104,400 - $140,000 / year

Strategist: $89,300 - $120,650 / year
Sr. Strategist: $110,200 - $140,000 / year
Charlotte, NC / Dallas, TX:
Strategist: $94,000 - $127,000 / year
Sr. Strategist: $116,000 - $140,000/ year
Chicago, IL /Denver, CO / Minneapolis, MN:
Strategist: $103,400 - $139,700/ year
Sr. Strategist: $127,600 - $140,000 / year
Los Angeles, CA / New York City, NY:
Strategist: $112,800 - $140,00/ year

Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
