We are seeking a motivated, professional Business Development Executive to join our team. This role is responsible for developing relationships with local businesses, presenting effective advertising/sponsorship solutions, and driving revenue across our print and digital platforms. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, organized, and comfortable working in a consultative sales environment with small and mid‑size local businesses. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with local business owners and decision‑makers Prospect and secure new advertising clients through networking, outreach, and referrals Manage and grow an existing book of business Present customized advertising packages across print and digital platforms Educate clients on effective ways to reach local residents and visitors Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals Represent Local Black Hills at community events, networking functions, and business gatherings Coordinate with the internal team to ensure accurate ad placement and scheduling Provide ongoing account support and service to clients Products You’ll Represent
