
Overview
Sentara Park in Virginia Beach is looking to hire a Remote Proposal Writer. This is a remote position: Remote opportunities available in the following states: Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
This individual will be responsible for developing quality, compelling proposals in collaboration with Sales team members and subject matter experts throughout the organization. This individual will focus on understanding and representing the health plan, including the company’s mission and vision, community presence, core products and services, and continuous advancements.
Responsibilities
High-quality writing, editing, proofing.
Subject matter expert relationship development (SME outreach and engagement).
Use and management of content library.
Qvidian – proactive throughout RFP, post‑submission, and FOIA analysis.
Managing proposal templates and sample materials.
Supporting proposal production.
Preferred Qualifications In addition to the skills in the job listing, the ideal candidate will be a strong writer, proofreader, critical thinker; be detail‑oriented, resourceful, and collaborative; and be capable of working under strict deadlines.
Education
Bachelor’s degree
Experience
2 years of marketing and public relations required.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Compensation We provide market‑competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is: $53,248 – $88,753.6. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
