Our products are sold worldwide—from major retailers to boutique shops, and we’re proud of the diverse, creative team we’ve built over the past 15+ years. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented Textile Designer to join our design team.
Who You Are You’re a creative and detail-oriented designer with a strong background in textiles and fabric construction. You understand how design translates from concept to production and are comfortable collaborating across teams and with suppliers. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balance creativity with technical know-how, and are passionate about developing textiles that are both innovative and commercially successful.
The Role As a Home Textile Designer, you will report to the Senior Designer and work closely with the broader textile team. Your primary focus will be driving the end-to-end design and development of textiles across
bedding, bath, table linens, kitchen textiles, beach towels, and home décor . From trend research and concept development through fabric construction and production, you will create original, commercially viable designs that balance aesthetics, quality, cost, and manufacturability.
This role collaborates cross-functionally with Product Development, Sales, and global suppliers to bring concepts to market. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented designer to join a fast-paced team and contribute to the development of customer-specific product lines.
Responsibilities
Participate in design and trend research, identifying emerging trends, techniques, color directions, and product concepts
Develop original artwork for home textiles, including surface patterns; hand drawing and painting as needed
Learn and maintain an ongoing understanding of Core Home’s creative direction, brand aesthetic, and design language
Partner with Product Development team to review the status of styles in development and ensure execution aligns with design specifications
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to shifting priorities and tight deadlines
Assist in building both physical and digital design presentations for internal milestone meetings and external customer presentations
What You Bring
BA/BS degree in Textile Design or a related field
Portfolio submission required, demonstrating creative skills in textile design
3–5 years of experience in home textiles, fashion textiles, or related categories
Strong knowledge of textile constructions, materials, and manufacturing processes
High proficiency with Mac operating systems and Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop
Exceptional eye for color, trend, scale, and detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with strong attention to detail
Willingness and enthusiasm to support a wide range of product design–related projects
