
Lombardi Family Concepts is seeking an experienced, highly motivated
Catering & Events Manager
to lead and grow private dining, off‑site catering, and special events across our fine‑dining restaurant group. This role will oversee catering and events for all four current restaurants. This is a key revenue‑driving position responsible for developing relationships, managing all event logistics, and delivering exceptional guest experiences that reflect Lombardi standards of luxury hospitality.
Compensation
Base salary: $60,000–$70,000 (depending on experience)
Commission: Aggressive commission structure with strong earning potential
Benefits: Eligible for company benefit programs
Key Responsibilities
Manage all catering and events for four fine‑dining restaurants
Actively generate new business through networking, local partnerships, hotel and corporate relationships, and community presence
Serve as the primary contact for all catering and private event inquiries
Respond promptly to leads, conduct site tours, create customized proposals, and close contracts
Plan, coordinate, and execute on‑site and off‑site events including corporate functions, weddings, buyouts, wine dinners, and private celebrations
Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to design menus, pricing, timelines, staffing plans, and service flow
Oversee all event details including BEOs, contracts, deposits, room setups, vendor coordination, and day‑of execution
Be present for key events to ensure flawless service and guest satisfaction
Track sales activity, maintain accurate records, and provide regular performance and revenue reports
Uphold Lombardi brand standards and deliver a consistent, high‑end guest experience across all properties
Qualifications
3–5 years of catering/events management experience in an upscale or fine‑dining environment
Strong Houston market knowledge, with established connections in River Oaks and surrounding areas highly preferred
Proven ability to drive catering sales and build long‑term client relationships
Excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills
Experience managing multiple venues or high‑volume event programs is a strong plus
Professional presence with a passion for hospitality, service excellence, and luxury experiences
Flexible schedule with availability for evenings and weekends as needed for events
