Senior Digital Strategist The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is seeking a Senior Digital Strategist to help write and produce content for a large and active grassroots digital fundraising program. You will be responsible for writing, producing, and executing email and SMS marketing campaigns to raise millions of dollars, recruit organizers, and mobilize voters across the country. You will also own special projects to optimize revenue and help other members of the writing team develop their craft.

Responsibilities

Draft and edit high-performing copy for DSCC and surrogate fundraising content.

Own special projects to optimize supporter re-engagement, calendar management, and audience segmentation.

Review and make revisions to copy written by other team members.

Pitch content ideas in daily and weekly meetings.

Take charge of creating voices for surrogate senders.

Track performance of content and implement learnings in subsequent drafts.

Produce, target, and checklist error‑free email and SMS blasts.

Provide overflow drafting capacity as needed for ads, web properties, and more.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of experience - including at least a portion of time at the strategist level - writing copy in a digital marketing setting for an electoral campaign, advocacy organization, or firm.

Well-versed in email and/or SMS production.

Familiarity with CRMs or online organizing platforms.

Experience with ActionKit a bonus but not a requirement.

Ability to project manage and coordinate work of other team members.

The annualized salary for this position is $85,000.

This position requires in-person work at DSCC headquarters in Washington, DC. This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.
