
Overview
We’re seeking a Proposal Manager to lead the development of competitive, compliant proposal responses for federal, state, and commercial opportunities. This role demands excellent writing, strong organization, regulatory awareness (FAR/DFARS/ITAR), and a proven ability to multi-task under deadlines—all within an engineering design context.
Key Responsibilities
Craft, edit, and finalize proposal content (technical and non-technical) in line with solicitation requirements.
Coordinate possible subcontractor BD/proposal teams. Proposal pipeline management, opportunity evaluation (Go/No Go), RFI responses, and RFP submissions.
Maintain and update proposal library and core content.
Engage with engineering, project management, and BD teams to source and synthesize technical input.
Analyze RFP terms, ensuring ITAR compliance and alignment with federal requirements.
Support continual improvement of proposal processes and templates.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Minimum 3 years in proposal writing, including at least 1 year supporting U.S. federal contracts.
Excellent technical and persuasive writing skills, with superior attention to detail and copy-editing acumen.
Proficiency in MS Office; Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with FAR, DFARS, and federal contracting.
Background in engineering/technical environments, preferably in multi-disciplinary design.
