
Position Overview
Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Graphic Designer, PR to support the execution of digital, print, and event materials that bring our PR and corporate communications to life. This role focuses on hands‑on production design, ensuring brand consistency across channels while learning to translate PR strategies into effective, on‑brand visual deliverables that support AFI’s reputation and community presence. Key Responsibilities
PR Design Support & Execution
Execute on‑brand design work for PR assets across digital, print, and event materials Adapt existing templates and brand systems to create consistent, high‑quality deliverables Transform content and photography into clear, engaging visual communications for PR needs Support design updates for media kits, press materials, internal communications, and community events Exercises independent creative judgment in layout, typography, and visual presentation to ensure PR objectives are communicated clearly and effectively. Brand Standards & Consistency
Apply AFI brand guidelines consistently across all PR materials Ensure files are organized, properly formatted, and production‑ready Assist in quality checks to maintain visual accuracy and consistency across channels Help evolve and document design standards as PR communication needs grow Collaboration & Growth
Partner with the PR team and cross‑functional stakeholders to understand project requirements Take direction from the Sr. Graphic Designer, PR and Design Director of PR, while contributing ideas and solutions Participate in reviews, incorporating feedback to refine and improve work Stay current on design trends, best practices in PR communications, and visual storytelling techniques AI & Tools Integration
Use Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other core tools to deliver design work efficiently Begin exploring AI‑assisted design tools under guidance from senior team members Support the team in basic production tasks that benefit from automation or AI capabilities
