The CAD Designer is responsible to utilize CAD Software in a Teamcenter Integrated Environment to create, modify and upload models assemblies, drawings and engineering change reports in support of assigned workflow tasks and complying with department procedures to achieve objectives for timing, quality and cost.
Main Responsibilities
Create, modify and upload CAD models, drawings and assemblies
Create, modify and upload Engineering Change Reports
Support workflow tasks for reviewing and integrating CAD data in Teamcenter
Support the development, deployment and documentation of new workflows in Teamcenter
Participate in engineering and manufacturing design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make recommendations
Position Requirements
Associate’s Degree, Trade or Tech. School in CAD Design or Engineering Required; Degree preferred
3D parametric CAD, Surface, Assembly, Modeling (NX and CATIA preferred)
NX CAD and CATIA CAD software experience preferred
Machining and/or inspection part fixture design experience
