
Looking for an Experienced Association Manager that can acts as the primary operator and advisor for homeowners' associations (HOAs) and condominium associations.
We're a family owned and operated business, looking for an experienced manager to take over an existing portfolio from a retiring manager. Current manager will train and transition portfolio.
We operate virtually, but would like someone within the broader Seattle WA area, as you may need to go to a properties from time to time to meet vendors or do a quick inspection.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Administrative Management: Preparing for and attending board meetings, taking minutes, maintaining records, and distributing communications to residents.
Financial Operations: We have an accountant that is responsible for majority of the financial responsibilities, but will need help in developing annual budgets, reviewing financial statements, collecting dues.
Property Maintenance: Conducting site inspections on quarterly basis, coordinating landscaping, cleaning, and repairing community infrastructure.
Vendor Management: Hiring, supervising, and managing contractors for security, repairs, and landscaping services.
Rule Enforcement: Ensuring residents comply with governing documents, covenants, and bylaws, including issuing violation notices.
Resident Relations: Acting as the liaison between the board and homeowners, resolving complaints, and facilitating communication.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for interacting with boards and residents.
Financial Literacy: Understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and accounts.
Knowledge of Regulations: Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws.
Organizational Skills: Proficiency in tracking tasks and open items.
Certifications: Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) or Association Management Specialist (AMS) will be preferred. Also willing to sponsor certification for the right candidate.
