This position, reporting directly to the Board Chair, involves overseeing strategy, management, and administrative operations. Key responsibilities include championing diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) across the organization while leading growth initiatives. The Executive Director will be charged with managing organizational operations, supporting board administration, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role also requires the creation and implementation of strategic plans to achieve organizational goals, foster effective communication with stakeholders, and elevate the organization's reputation in the philanthropic community.
In addition to general operational oversight, the Executive Director will devise and execute business development and marketing strategies to meet board-defined objectives. Duties extend to traveling domestically and internationally to positively promote the client's programs and services. A significant aspect of the position involves enhancing public awareness of the organization's work and expanding the pool of credential seekers. Moreover, the Executive Director will maintain the credibility of the credential processes, manage financial affairs, and form strategic alliances with professional groups to foster growth.
