
Porter/Vehicle Runner
D&M Leasing is seeking a dedicated, punctual, and highly responsible Porter/Vehicle Runner to join our Houston team. This role is the "connective tissue" of our logistics, ensuring that vehicles move safely and efficiently between our facility, third-party vendors, and partner dealerships. The ideal candidate is a professional driver who understands that the safety of the vehicle and the efficiency of the lot are top priorities. Key Responsibilities Vehicle Transport:
Safely drive and transport vehicles between D&M Leasing, local dealerships, and third-party service providers (Recon, Detail, etc.). Logistics Coordination:
Work closely with Sales Agents and the inventory team to prioritize vehicle movements. Communication:
Provide accurate and proactive Estimated Times of Arrival (ETAs) to the team to ensure smooth scheduling. Lot Organization:
Assist in the physical organization of the vehicle lot, ensuring cars are parked neatly, safely, and in their designated zones. Inventory Support:
Assist in checking in vehicles and ensuring keys are tagged and moved to the correct locations immediately upon arrival. Quality Control:
Perform basic visual inspections during transport to ensure vehicles are being returned in the expected condition. Schedule:

$16.00 - $18.00 / Hour Required Qualifications Safety First:
Must have a clean driving record and a deep commitment to safe driving practices in all traffic and weather conditions. Punctuality:
Ability to arrive on time daily (8:30 AM) to ensure the morning workflow begins without delay. Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and text/email communication skills to keep agents updated on vehicle status. Reliability:
High level of accountability; you will often be working independently on the road. Physical Stamina:
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and enter/exit various types of vehicles throughout the day.
