Customer Service Representative

This is a 3-6 month long contract assignment based on volume and business needs. We are seeking 20 customer service representatives to support New York customers calling in about potential reductions on their energy bills. Call volumes are currently very high, and the environment is fast-paced with back-to-back calls and elevated wait times. In this role, you will handle inbound calls, provide clear information, answer questions, and support customers who may be frustrated or impatient. We're looking for individuals who can stay calm, professional, and composedno matter how busy the day gets. What You'll Do Answer continuous inbound calls from customers regarding energy bill reduction programs Provide accurate information in a clear, friendly, and professional manner De-escalate and manage frustrated or impatient callers Maintain strong communication and customer service standards Work efficiently in a high-volume queue environment Adhere to schedule and attendance expectations What We're Looking For Prior call center or high-volume phone experience Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance history Comfort handling consecutive back-to-back calls throughout the day Excellent communication skills and emotional composure Proven ability to de-escalate and handle challenging conversations professionally What We Offer $16/hr starting pay Work-from-home Opportunity to support an impactful customer program Fast hiring processstart ASAP Job Type & Location This is a contract position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
