Territory Manager

The Territory Manager position is responsible for driving HVAC product sales within an assigned geographic territory. This role builds and maintains strong relationships with contractors, dealers, and other distributors. The Territory Manager develops strategic plans to increase market share and achieve sales goals. This individual has a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven mindset. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and market share goals Build and maintain strong relationships with HVAC contractors, dealers, and distributors Provide product presentations, technical training, and support to customers Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory Monitor competitor activity and market trends; adjust sales strategy accordingly Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product management, and customer service to support territory needs Conduct job site visits and work alongside contractors to ensure product knowledge and satisfaction Track sales activities and maintain accurate records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) Participate in local trade shows, industry events, and customer appreciation events Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve any customer issues promptly Preferred Skills: 3+ years of experience in HVAC sales or a related technical sales role Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite Excellent problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication Ability to be a self-starter capable of working independently or with a team Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Technical certifications in HVAC are a plus. Working Conditions: Primarily field-based with frequent customer visits. A branch location allocates a working space which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Travel required (up to 80%) within the assigned region. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
