
Vice President of Wellness, Longevity & Performance

Proper Hospitality is seeking a Vice President of Wellness, Longevity & Performance to join our corporate team in Los Angeles.
Position Overview Proper is scaling a Wellness, Longevity & Performance platform that integrates diagnostics, recovery, and structured lifestyle programming into select properties. This is not a spa expansion, but a revenue vertical intended to increase ancillary capture, extend length of stay, and stabilize seasonality in resort markets. The platform will launch with our upcoming flagship hotel, Lake Tahoe Proper.
The VP will design, launch, and scale the platform, owning product strategy, operating model, clinical partnerships, capital deployment, and financial performance. This role reports to the Founders and works closely with Development, Asset Management, Operations, Commercial, and Brand.
Core Responsibilities
Platform & Product Define structured programs and modular services Establish the diagnostic and recovery stack for urban and resort formats Ensure alignment with Proper’s design-led brand
Operating Model Build standardized clinical and performance SOPs Design a lean staffing model balancing medical oversight and scalable treatments Establish regulatory frameworks with legal counsel Select and manage diagnostic and recovery technology partners
Financial Ownership Set and manage KPIs including protocol capture rate, ancillary penetration, and average length of stay impact Partner with Asset Management to measure longevity-driven TRevPAR lift Oversee capital allocation and enforce ROI thresholds Deliver measurable contribution to total property revenue and margin
Talent Recruit contract medical directors and hire lead longevity RNs Build a team that integrates clinical credibility with hospitality standards
Experience Profile 10–15 years in integrated wellness, performance hospitality, or destination health environments Senior leadership experience at high-end wellness or longevity platforms Experience launching or scaling multi-unit wellness operations Strong P&L ownership and capital discipline Familiarity with regulated clinical environments
Success in This Role Achieve defined capture and ancillary revenue targets Demonstrate measurable ALOS extension tied to structured programs Build a repeatable platform suitable for portfolio-wide rollout Position longevity as a durable, high-margin contributor to property economics
