Position Summary The Activities Specialist design and lead programs that engage residents physically, mentally, and socially. If you love making people smile, this is the role for you!

Essential Duties

* Plan, organize, and lead engaging group and individual activities (games, arts & crafts, fitness, music, outings, etc.) * Encourage resident participation and adapt programs to meet diverse needs * Build warm, positive relationships with residents and families * Collaborate with the Life Enrichment team to enhance resident wellness

Qualifications include:

* Experience in recreation, activities, or therapeutic programming preferred * Creative, energetic, and compassionate personality * Ability to motivate and engage older adults in fun and meaningful activities

Education:

* Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, or related field.

Licensure/Certification :

* CTRS or equivalent preferred; position specific certification required
