Relationship Banker The Relationship Banker will primarily focus on product sales and exceptional customer service. The associate develops new customer relationships and strengthens existing relationships by ensuring each customer knows and offers appropriate products and services to meet their existing and future financial needs. The role includes expert product advice, clear directions on using self‑service banking solutions, transaction accuracy, and account servicing and problem resolution per established procedures and regulations.
What You Will Do at Arvest
Contribute to achieving branch sales goals through a consultative sales approach with new and existing customers, following the sales process defined in the CFB Retail Sales Playbook.
Proactively make outbound calls to generate sales, strengthen customer relationships, or begin new relationships.
Identify opportunities to sell consumer loans, accept applications, and facilitate loan closings, working effectively with the centralized underwriting department.
Deliver consistent, exceptional customer service by acknowledging each customer promptly, smiling, greeting, introducing yourself, using eye contact, and thanking the customer.
Open and process simple, moderate, or highly complex deposit accounts.
Answer and assist customers’ questions and concerns, including deposit risk management and day‑to‑day banking business.
Maintain in‑depth knowledge of products and services, including digital services, and support customer usage of appropriate services.
Participate in branch promotions and marketing initiatives as directed.
Use sound judgment in applying bank standards, policies, and procedures regarding customers.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank’s BSA/AML Program; complete compliance training and report any violations or suspicious activity.
Toolbox for Success Level 1 – Training
High School Diploma or GED required.
Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or the ability to register within 30 days required.
Demonstrated sales and customer service experience preferred.
Financial service provider experience preferred.
College degree preferred.
Level 2 – Proficient
High School Diploma or GED required.
Achievement of defined Level 1 competencies required.
Current NMLS SAFE Act Registration or the ability to register within 30 days required.
Level 3 – Advanced
High School Diploma or GED required.
Successful achievement of defined Level 2 competencies or relevant related experience required.
