What You’ll Do
Greet pet parents and discuss grooming preferences
Bathe, brush, dry, clip, and style dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes
Trim nails and perform ear cleaning
Ensure each pet's safety, comfort, and overall well-being
Document grooming notes and pricing in our computer system
Identify any medical concerns and communicate with the veterinary staff
Maintain grooming tools and equipment
Clean and disinfect the grooming space
Provide excellent customer service with a professional demeanor
What You Bring
1–3 years of professional grooming experience (required)
Grooming certification (preferred but not required)
Portfolio of work may be requested
Must have your own grooming hand tools
Hand-scissoring skills required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Ability to groom all sizes and temperaments of dogs and cats
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized
A test groom will be part of the interview process.
Work Environment & Schedule You’ll work in a busy, supportive environment with frequent interaction with clients, pets, and staff members. Groomers have access to everything they need - and never work in isolation.
Availability around holidays is required
Shared grooming space with occasional solo shifts
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk throughout your shift
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 150 lbs
Comfortable handling animals of all sizes and temperaments
Allergic conditions aggravated by animals may be disqualifying
Other Details
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or equivalent required
No relocation assistance provided
