HPS Capital Group is a Bay Area investment firm led by David, who brings close to 10 years of hands‑on experience in value‑add and fix‑and‑flip real estate, with over $30 million in transaction volume. We’re now building a fund that combines real estate acquisitions with small service business investments (think plumbing, HVAC, landscaping). The strategy is simple: acquire solid real estate assets and businesses with steady cash flow, improve operations, grow them, and either hold long‑term or exit at the right time. Real estate is one side. Operating businesses is the other. This role is focused on the real estate side of the house.
The Role We’re looking for a motivated, well‑connected Real Estate Acquisitions Specialist to immediately begin sourcing single‑family and multifamily investment opportunities across the SF Bay Area.
We need someone who can hit the ground running. If you already have relationships with brokers, wholesalers, and property owners, great. If you know how to build a deal pipeline fast, even better. We’re willing to put real resources behind you, whether that’s financial backing, marketing spend, technology, or operational support, to help you execute. If you have a plan, we’ll back it.
What You’ll Do
Source and evaluate single‑family and multifamily acquisition opportunities throughout the Bay Area on a daily basis
Leverage your existing network of brokers, agents, wholesalers, attorneys, and property owners to surface off‑market and on‑market deals
Build and expand new relationships to grow our deal flow over time
Conduct initial underwriting, market analysis, and due diligence on prospective acquisitions
Present qualified deals to leadership with clear investment rationale
Execute a disciplined, repeatable process for finding and vetting deals every single day
What We’re Looking For
Established relationships in the SF Bay Area real estate market (brokers, agents, wholesalers, owners, lenders)
Proven track record of sourcing and/or closing residential or multifamily deals
Deep knowledge of Bay Area submarkets, pricing trends, and investment dynamics
Self‑starter mentality. You don’t wait to be told what to do.
Ability to start immediately and bring deal flow from day one, or present a clear plan to ramp quickly
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
Experience with off‑market sourcing strategies (direct mail, cold outreach, driving for dollars, etc.) is a plus
Compensation & Structure
Base salary: $85K to $110K (depending on experience)
Commission structure on closed acquisitions
Open to full‑time W‑2 or 1099 consultancy arrangements
Flexible structure for the right person who can deliver results
We will invest in the tools, systems, and resources you need to build and scale your pipeline
