Drives sales and profit of the assigned Region through the management of all District Sales Managers and is responsible for developing and achieving an annual business plan. Thinks strategically and works with the Vice President of Sales and the Director of Sales to establish sales goals that position the company to gain maximum market share, sales and profitability. Reviews daily sales below profitable level. Reviews previous week's results on sales and profits. Implements pricing strategies for sale of product. Guides the District Sales Managers to ensure Area Managers are accountable for achieving Credit/Collections goals/requirements. Interacts with customers and vendors and responds to all questions and helps to solve problems quickly. Ensures District Managers are promoting Customer Service and are handling Customer issues efficiently and effectively. Reviews key customer accounts and offers suggestions to District Sales Manager to improve sales and profitability. Reviews new account prospects to help District Sales Manager (DSM) and Area Managers close. Supervises District Managers in the performance of their duties, including scheduling, training and development, counseling, and performance management of their Area Manager(s). Assists the District Managers in the Hiring and Development of Area Managers. Coordinates sales efforts with Purchasing Department. Evaluates with DSM's any specific problem within their geographic area and tries to resolve. Ensures that District Managers are evaluating the performance of all Area Managers quarterly. Plans Educational and Motivational sales meetings. Performs other duties as assigned by the VP of Sales or Director of Sales. Benefits

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum 4 years previous Foodservice Distribution Sales experience including Gross Profit positive results. 5 years Foodservice Sales Management experience. Must be proficient with Excel (and all other computer applications that are required). Able to effectively and confidently present information to large groups. Maintain a valid driver's license and company required insurance. Must reside in the territory area and able to travel as required. Preferred Qualifications
