
Job Description
We are looking for a talented Oracle EPM Consultant who excels in crafting advanced business analytics and customized solutions using Oracle EPM technologies. This role emphasizes utilizing both on-premises and SaaS (PBCS, HPCM) EPM platforms, including Essbase, Hyperion Planning, and Data Relationship Management (DRM). At this time, visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. Ideally, candidates should be based in White Plains, NY and available for onsite work. Consideration will also be given to candidates in the Eastern Time Zone, and others willing to align with East Coast hours.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement sophisticated business analytics solutions leveraging Oracle Essbase, Hyperion Planning, FDMEE, DRM, and associated technologies.
Create and customize detailed business rules, calculation scripts, and reporting frameworks to meet specific business needs.
Establish integrations and automated processes between EPM applications and enterprise systems, utilizing MS SQL, PowerShell, and/or Python as necessary.
Engage closely with business users to capture requirements, deliver data-driven insights, and translate business objectives into efficient EPM solutions.
Enhance reporting capabilities through SmartView reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analytic tools.
Provide expert support and troubleshooting for EPM platforms, focusing on system performance optimization and user satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance and maintain metadata accuracy with DRM.
Deliver comprehensive end-user training, documentation, and continuous support to promote the use of analytics solutions.
Stay updated on Oracle EPM best practices, analytics advancements, and related technologies.
Assist in system upgrades and migrations as necessary (experience with upgrades is beneficial, though not the primary focus).
Required Qualifications: At least 5 years of client-facing experience providing customized solutions with Oracle EPM products (Essbase, Hyperion Planning, DRM, PBCS/HPCM).
Extensive expertise in calculation scripts, business rules, and the use of Calc Manager.
Proven track record in creating analytical reports, dashboards, and tailored solutions within EPM environments.
Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server for data integration, preparation, and transformation.
Significant hands-on experience with SmartView for reporting and user assistance.
Ability to design and automate business processes through scripting, with experience in PowerShell and/or Python being highly desirable.
Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative approach to requirement gathering and solution development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
Preferred Skills: Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and/or Python for automation and process enhancement.
Experience in supporting or managing EPM system upgrades.
Oracle certification in EPM, Essbase, Hyperion, or related technologies.
Familiarity with data integration tools, such as FDMEE.
Understanding of financial and regulatory best practices.
Agile or PMP certification is a plus.
