Join our dynamic Digital Development and Delivery team as a Digital Assessment Business Analyst Specialist! This role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the planning, building, and delivery of cutting-edge digital assessment products and platforms. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to brainstorm, design, document, and launch innovative web, mobile, and tablet-based testing platforms within an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine, document, and specify functional requirements and use cases through interviews, surveys, workshops, and analysis.

Assist in developing and refining user stories together with diverse teams.

Analyze business requirements to ensure they align with business goals while maintaining traceability and addressing any ambiguities.

Achieve stakeholder agreement on requirements and scope, establishing a solid foundation for solution delivery.

Work with developers and product managers to determine technical visions and evaluate usability versus product needs.

Lead implementations of digital features/products, sourcing third-party solutions when suitable.

Define and document technical requirements and system architecture in partnership with technical teams.

Participate in collaborative work sessions and development sprints to adapt requirements as necessary.

Evaluate information from various sources critically, resolving conflicts and detailing high-level ideas.

Facilitate user acceptance testing and evaluate consumer pathways to suggest enhancements.

Work closely with project management and digital teams throughout the project lifecycle to outline the digital scope and communicate project details effectively.

Engage in Agile software development ceremonies actively.

Conduct coding, unit testing, and code reviews to guarantee code reliability and maintainability.

Collaborate with user experience teams to design wireframes and prototypes as needed.

Enforce development efficiency standards during the build process.

Contribute to testing plans for product and user acceptance phases.

Coordinate user training and documentation efforts.

Support the definition and evaluation of key product metrics.

Implement stakeholder engagement and communication strategies to address feedback, manage resolutions, and enhance relationships.

Serve as a knowledgeable digital product expert, ensuring the team is aligned and informed about tasks and objectives.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; coursework in educational or psychological measurement and/or computer science is a plus.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Experience in test development or functional requirements writing for software is preferred.

While specific language knowledge isn’t required, familiarity with Java, HTML, XML, or other programming languages is beneficial.

Proven service and project management experience in dealing with global businesses.

Strong problem-solving skills, applying a systematic approach to analysis and solution evaluation.

Exceptional communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in English.

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision.

At Pearson, compensation is influenced by various factors including skills, experience, and location. The full-time salary range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000, with eligibility for an annual incentive program and comprehensive benefits.
