About the role As a
Salesforce Solution Architect , you will lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of scalable Salesforce solutions that support long-term growth, performance, and security. This is a hands‑on architectural role where you will bridge business requirements and technical delivery, working closely with stakeholders, developers, and administrators to shape the future of the Salesforce platform.
You will act as a trusted technical authority, ensuring Salesforce solutions align with business strategy, Salesforce best practices, and evolving platform capabilities.
Responsibilities
Design end-to-end Salesforce architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability
Translate complex business requirements into robust technical Salesforce solutions, leading major implementations, enhancements, and platform integrations
Define, govern, and enforce technical standards, including: Data models, Security architecture, Sharing strategies, Integration patterns
Review and approve Salesforce designs, configurations, and code to ensure architectural integrity
Lead Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft
Provide technical leadership across the Salesforce ecosystem, mentoring developers and administrators
Guide business stakeholders through architectural decisions and platform trade‑offs
Continuously improve the Salesforce platform by leveraging new Salesforce capabilities and features
Support DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies to enable reliable releases
Requirements
5+ years of Salesforce experience, including architecture or senior technical leadership roles
Extensive hands‑on experience with Salesforce core clouds, including: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
Proven experience designing and delivering Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
Hands‑on experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft
Strong understanding of Salesforce security models, data architecture, and sharing rules
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Salesforce deployment strategies
Ability to translate business strategy into scalable, secure technical solutions
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Architect, Platform Developer, or Cloud‑specific certifications)
Experience improving Salesforce platform performance and governance at scale
Exposure to complex, multi‑team or enterprise Salesforce environments
Passion for mentoring and raising technical standards across teams
