Identity Solutions Architect - Microsoft Technologies About the Role Join our innovative team as an Identity Solutions Architect, where your deep technical expertise will be instrumental in bridging the gaps between Engineering, Product, and Sales Engineering teams. In this key position, you will drive the success of Rubrik's identity solutions tailored for Microsoft environments. Your focus will be on orchestrating impactful customer proofs of concept (POCs), defining success criteria, and ensuring field readiness through comprehensive technical and solution validation. With your extensive knowledge in Microsoft identity solutions, you will adeptly translate customer needs into actionable product developments centered on Active Directory, Entra ID, and hybrid identity recovery. We are looking for a passionate candidate who thrives in dynamic environments, blending sales engineering, solution architecture, and hands-on technical execution. Your ability to engage directly with customers and field teams will be essential in solving complex issues in the Microsoft Identity sector and converting them into clear product requirements. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Sales Engineering teams to facilitate customer POCs, pilots, and technical evaluations for our identity resilience and data security products. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, and identity recovery technologies. Convert complex technical requirements into straightforward product specifications. Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to design and verify architectures and workflows that comply with enterprise-grade performance and security standards. Engage in hands-on validation of features both in lab and customer environments. Support the Sales Engineering organization by validating field-facing materials including solution briefs, competitive positioning guides, demos, and technical training resources. Assist in pre-sales engagements by communicating product value, leading technical walkthroughs, and answering architectural and integration questions. Collaborate with product management to confirm hypotheses, refine requirements, and facilitate smooth transitions from customer insights to product development. Act as a trusted advisor to key customers and partner organizations regarding best practices in identity resilience and hybrid identity recovery. Qualifications Required: Over 10 years of experience in Sales Engineering or Technical Marketing within the cybersecurity or enterprise software sector. In-depth technical knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and related identity management or recovery technologies. A proven track record of conducting hands-on demonstrations, validating integrations, and troubleshooting POC setups. Strong communication and presentation skills; capable of translating technical concepts into business value for diverse audiences. Comfortable working collaboratively across engineering, product, and go-to-market teams in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Experience in identity security, backup and recovery, or hybrid cloud infrastructures. Prior engagement with CISOs, Identity Architects, or Security Engineering teams. The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity, and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
