This key role demands a solid understanding of project plans, expertise in quantity takeoffs, and the ability to solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids while developing precise cost proposals. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and architects to ensure accurate budgeting and effective cost management throughout the lifecycle of each project. If you excel in analytical thinking, have proficiency in estimating software, and possess significant knowledge of construction methods and materials, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of estimating experience in commercial and residential construction, with a track record of delivering accurate and competitive bids. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost precision. Conduct regular quantity takeoffs while sourcing material pricing. Create detailed cost estimates and budgets for project analysis. Effectively present estimates to clients and stakeholders. Thoroughly review and evaluate subcontractor bids. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in commercial and residential construction. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred. Outstanding negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in the use of estimating software. Relocation assistance may be offered for highly qualified candidates.
