Job Overview The Account Executive, Business Sales role is a hunter position focused on building relationships and bringing T‑Mobile’s unmatched products and services to underserved markets. The successful candidate will prospect, cold‑call, network, and generate leads across a defined geographic territory, using solution‑based selling to showcase T‑Mobile’s value and close deals with small businesses (1‑9 employees). The role requires achieving and surpassing monthly sales targets through proactive account development, customer needs analysis, and effective negotiation.

Responsibilities

Generate and work leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking under sales manager supervision.

Identify customer needs and apply solution‑based selling to demonstrate T‑Mobile’s value, recommending wireless solutions, price plans, data services, handsets, and accessories.

Negotiate and close deals.

Develop proficiency in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management through product training and sales meetings.

Create effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.

Utilize sales force automation, manage the sales funnel, and report on sales activities and forecasts.

Maintain and grow the customer base within a territory‑model framework.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma/GED (required).

Experience:

1+ years of verifiable new‑customer acquisition sales experience, preferably in a commissioned environment; outside B2B sales experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

Task management, customer service, excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication, effective negotiation, and emotional intelligence.

Minimum age: 18 years; legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation Total Target Cash Pay Range:

$71,700 – $129,500 (inclusive of incentives)

Base Pay Range:

$43,020 – $77,700.

Actual starting pay will vary within the range based on location, qualifications, and experience.
