The Associate Account Director, Commerce leads key marketplace and retail media clients across Amazon, Walmart and other retail platforms. This role blends strategic direction with hands‑on experience in marketplace operations, advertising and content. The Associate Account Director, Commerce manages account performance, mentors team members and works with Media, Creative and Analytics teams to drive measurable growth.
What You'll Do Here:
Lead client strategy and day-to-day communication
Oversee marketplace operations including listings, catalog health and stores
Plan and review retail media campaigns across Amazon DSP and Walmart Connect
Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities
Mentor Account Managers and Senior Account Managers
Manage budgets and forecasts to keep accounts on track
Lead quarterly reviews and share clear insights
Stay informed on marketplace updates and new retail trends
Identify ways to grow existing client business
We Need a Person With:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
6-9 years of experience in marketing, e-commerce or retail media
1-2 years of experience managing people or teams
Familiar with Asana and Google Workspace preferred
Expert knowledge of Amazon Seller/Vendor Central and retail media tools
Strong analytical skills and clear communication
Organization skills and confidence in managing multiple priorities
Natural leadership who supports and motivates others
Compensation:
Salary: $95,000-$110,000 (Pay range is based on a market reference point and potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, experience and geographic location of the individual candidate. The compensation range reflects base rate only.)
Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Additionally, for eligible full‑time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance; a flexible spending account; voluntary life and accident plans; and a 401(k) retirement plan with matching. We have six office locations in the US: San Diego, California, Los Angeles, California, Covington, Kentucky, Denver, Colorado, Nashville, Tennessee and Charleston, South Carolina. We're seeking local candidates (or those open to relocation) who are able to work collaboratively with us in one of our office's; however, based on business needs and unique job functions, some roles may be eligible for remote work.
