Job Description
Lead and support preconstruction efforts including estimating, bid management, takeoffs, scope development, and proposal preparation Collaborate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing and comprehensive bid packages Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and conceptual budgeting Support multiple projects across commercial, industrial, multifamily, and institutional sectors Work from Charleston, Raleigh, or Charlotte, with hybrid/remote options depending on experience MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
A successful Estimator / Preconstruction Manager should have:
Experienced Estimator or Preconstruction professional with GC background Strong skills in quantity takeoffs, bid packaging, and subcontractor coordination Detailoriented, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple estimates at once Strong communicator who works well in a collaborative, fastmoving environment Someone who thrives in a flexible, growth-focused company What's on Offer
