
Inventory Specialist
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to efficiently manage and control inventory data processes. The ideal candidate will ensure that our system is clear and easy for the production and maintenance teams. Responsibilities: Perform data entry for work orders and inventory. Receive and inspect parts, placing them in the proper location. Issue tools and equipment to workers and maintain records of issued and returned items. Check cleaning chemicals in and out. Observe equipment operation and notify appropriate personnel of any malfunctions or safety concerns. Manage incoming and outgoing paperwork. Communicate part needs with supervisors and purchasing. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Comply with occupational safety and health standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills: Strong communication, organization, and proper business etiquette skills. High school diploma or above. Excellent attendance and positive attitude. Proficiency in computer skills. Ability to operate or learn to operate necessary equipment. Capability to stand and walk for the entire shift if needed. Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in inventory control, management, and reconciliation. Familiarity with WMS/ERP software. Experience in shipping and receiving. Experience with cycle counts and inventory planning. Experience in document control and tool room management. Work Environment: The position is based in a climate-controlled and very clean warehouse. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
