Key Responsibilities and Duties

Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to underwrite investment opportunities across PEJC.

Assist in the preparation of internal memoranda and other materials used to support investment recommendations and to communicate with internal constituents.

Assist with monitoring the performance of existing portfolio investments, including regular communication with private equity firms, management teams and third‑party clients.

Develop and manage relationships with private equity firms and other intermediaries to generate investment deal flow.

Participate in due diligence meetings with sponsors and portfolio company executives.

Additional Requirements

Capital markets structuring experience with a preference for a background in private equity, mezzanine finance, leveraged loans, equity research, secondaries, or M&A.

Demonstrated experience developing and using financial statement analysis and financial modeling.

Strong proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required.

Strong knowledge of accounting and finance.

Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Willingness to work hard in a team‑oriented, performance‑based environment.

A self‑starter that requires limited oversight in the completion of individual projects.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

Work Experience

1 – 4 years of relevant experience including a private equity fund, hedge fund, investment bank, consulting firm, or a related capital markets position.

Salary Range $110,000 – $150,000 / annually

Base Pay Range $155,000/yr – $217,000/yr
