0000031921**Job Description**A key lever within our growth ambition for the Americas market group is to develop strategies and innovative solutions to navigate a sophisticated retail landscape.We are looking for a Vice President, Key Account to continue the momentum and further nurture the relationship with a large, strategic customer to unlock future potential!**Core responsibilities:*** **Customer Strategy & Business Planning** – Lead the team and play an active role in creating the strategic framework for the Customer’s multi-year and annual business plans. Leverage and help improve the Customer Planning Process to achieve/exceed sales results, improve customer relationships, and increase profits for LEGO Group and for the customer. Define the scorecard targets and must-win battles. Outline strategies and actions to grow sales and profit by using pricing/promotion/distribution levers. Develop meaningful brand presence and experience to the buying and marketing functions.* **Strategic Development** – Ability to think both in an execution mindset and with a strategic approach simultaneously. Develop strategic roadmap for growth both in stores and online with the customer.* **Data Curiosity** – Be hands on and take a data driven approach to account leadership, with curiosity serving as the central tenet. Track performance to understand drivers and detractors, using this information to inform senior leadership, guide the team’s direction and drive strong customer dialogues.* **P&L Management**- Deliver the agreed upon profit contribution in line with the overall company revenue and profit objectives. Responsible for management of promotional funding and collaborating with the customer on how best to apply funds while focusing on driving sales in a profitable manner.* **Relationship Management and Elevation** - Responsibilities include developing and sustaining close collaborative interaction with buying, planning, and marketing teams. Specifically, the strategic partnership with senior management within this customer is a key responsibility.* **Planning and Project Management**- Collaborate with Americas Supply Chain & Customer logistics, as well as entire organization to implement range of ad-hoc tasks supporting planning and execution of the overall LEGO business.* **Team Leadership** – Positively contribute to team dynamics within the different Senior Leadership forums, area of responsibility, Sales organization in totality as well as cross functionally. Lead, inspire, and develop six direct reports, providing long-term coaching and growth guidance, while contributing to broader organizational development through indirect leadership of a cross-functional team covering merchandising, customer logistics, and content.**Play your part in our team succeeding**This is a Top 3 US customer and a key strategic partner within the Americas market. The Key Account Vice President is responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive, market-incremental strategy for the LEGO Group business at this customer.

As a key pillar in the overall US and Americas market strategy, this role is integral to the success of the larger organization. Therefore, there is a premium on thought leadership, direct and indirect people leadership, collaboration, and use of data to drive market growth and profit for a key retail partner.* Depth of Customer Development/Key Account experience with major North American customers, ideally in consumer packaged-goods* Significant experience with people and team leadership, along with a successful track record of working with executive leadership, both external and internal* Demonstrates key strengths required to succeed as a member of a Sales Leadership Forum, negotiation skills, strategic orientation, analytical abilities, decision making, communication skills, team orientation, and integrity* Strong planning, organizational and execution skills* Experience working with eCommerce platforms and omni-channel partners* Strong executional focus, using and trusting data* Willingness to push boundaries, experiment, learn fast & execute* Experience working in a global matrixed environment preferred, with strong cross-functional leadership* Willingness to travel as needed**Compensation**The salary for this position has a range of $297,891.00 - $446,837.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
