Job description: Fractional Head of Growth — Healthcare Digital Marketing Agency

Company: Practice Tech Solutions (a Neolytix company)

Location: Remote (US-based only); Chicago Hybrid Candidate preferred

Type: Fractional / Part-time (10–20 hrs/week) with performance upside

Compensation: Base retainer + Profit share

The Opportunity (Read This First) This isn’t a job. It’s a chance to build something.

Practice Tech Solutions (PTS) is a healthcare-focused digital marketing division inside Neolytix, a profitable healthcare services company with 220+ employees, 270+ clients. We already have:

An existing book of healthcare clients generating recurring revenue

A trained offshore delivery team (SEO, PPC, web, social, reputation)

A established team with deep healthcare operations knowledge and credibility

Capital to invest in growth

What we don’t have: A senior growth leader who can take this from a service line to a scaled agency business.

If you’ve helped build an agency before—or wished you could do it with less risk—this is your shot. You’re not starting from zero. You’re inheriting infrastructure, clients, and execution capacity. Your job is to define the strategy, build the engine, and grow the revenue.

What Makes This Different Equity-like upside without the equity risk. You’ll receive a base retainer plus a share of revenue/profit growth you create. Hit milestones, earn more. Exceed them, earn significantly more. This isn’t vague “performance bonus” language—we’ll define clear metrics and percentages together.

Healthcare is sticky. Medical practices don’t churn like e-commerce clients. They need long-term partners. This means higher LTV, better margins, and predictable recurring revenue.

You’re not building the plane while flying it. The delivery team exists. The infrastructure exists. You’re designing the strategy and growth engine, not doing the work yourself.

What You’ll Own

Revenue growth: Set targets, build the plan, execute against them

Positioning & ICP: Decide where we win (specialties, practice sizes, geography)

Service packaging: Productize our offerings into clear, sellable packages

Pipeline development: Build a repeatable engine (inbound, outbound, partnerships, referrals)

Sales leadership: Lead discovery calls, present solutions, close retainers

Client strategy: Own key relationships and ensure we deliver measurable ROI

Delivery oversight: Direct the offshore team; ensure quality by establishing processes

What Success Looks Like (12 Months)

Clear positioning that differentiates PTS from generalist agencies

3–4 productized service packages being sold consistently

Predictable monthly pipeline: X opportunities → Y closes

Meaningful growth in MRR from new and expanded healthcare clients

Case studies that prove patient growth and practice revenue impact

Who This Is For

7+ years in digital marketing, with 3–5+ years in an agency environment

You’ve helped scale an agency or book of business before (ideally from low-7 figures to mid-7/8 figures)

Experience in healthcare, medical, or regulated services is strongly preferred

You’ve owned revenue targets—not just campaign metrics

Comfortable directing offshore teams (you manage strategy, establish SOP’s, they execute)

You can lead C-level and practice-owner conversations

US-based and authorized to work in the United States

Who This Is NOT For Be honest with yourself. This role isn’t right for everyone.

Campaign managers looking to “level up.” This isn’t a stretch role. You need to have already owned revenue.

People who need a full-time salary with benefits. This is fractional with performance-based comp.

Pure strategists who don’t sell. You’ll lead sales conversations and close deals.

People uncomfortable with offshore teams. Bulk of the delivery will stay offshore. That’s not changing.

Anyone who thinks “healthcare marketing” is just running Google Ads. It’s about practice growth strategy, patient acquisition, and long-term relationships.
