
Director of Business Operations

Rochester CUSD 3A is searching for a highly qualified Director of Business Services.
This position is responsible for the business operations of the district including all finance and accounting, purchasing, transportation, food services, safety, and risk management, oversight of technology purchasing, insurance programs, aspects of human resource management, and related areas for the school district so as to provide the best possible education services within the financial resources available. Regularly report and communicate on district financial status and issues.
Qualifications:
A preferred degree in one or a combination of the following: MS in School Administration with an Education Specialists Degree (EdS), Accounting, Finance, or Certified School Business Official (CSBO).
Preferred experience in school financial management.
Knowledge of Google Applications, Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc
Establish and maintain effective and courteous working relationships with those contacted in the course of work (students, parents, and staff).
Ability to communicate with students, parents, and staff in an acceptable and courteous manner.
Experience as a superintendent, as an administrator in a public school central office, and or a CPA firm is preferred but not required.
Job Description Salary Range: Minimum starting base salary $105,000 commensurate with education and experience Closing Date: Until Filled Starting Date: July 1, 2026
