is seeking an

Account Director

to join our team. The Account Director will be responsible for leading Hexagon’s engagement with a small portfolio of 1–3 high‑value, high‑visibility strategic accounts. This role requires exceptional communication, relationship management, coordination, and business acumen. The SAM serves as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customer executive teams while also acting as a liaison to Hexagon’s senior leadership. The objective of this role is to drive long-term partnership, expand Hexagon’s footprint across the customer’s enterprise, and ensure delivery of maximum strategic value.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Ownership

Own and manage 1–3 designated strategic accounts with a long-term partnership mindset.

Build and maintain a deep understanding of each customer’s organizational structure, business priorities, operational challenges, and technology roadmap.

Develop multi-year strategic account plans aligned with both customer objectives and Hexagon’s growth priorities.

Executive & C‑Suite Relationship Management

Establish, nurture, and grow strong relationships with executive and C‑level stakeholders at each strategic account.

Facilitate regular executive business reviews and strategic alignment sessions.

Serve as the trusted advisor to senior decision-makers by providing insight, thought leadership, and proactive guidance.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication

Orchestrate and coordinate all internal Hexagon resources—including sales specialists, product teams, services, support, and executive sponsors—to deliver a unified, customer‑centric experience.

Drive clear communication between customer leadership and Hexagon’s senior executives to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely issue resolution.

Maintain consistent internal updates and ensure all stakeholders have visibility into account status, opportunities, risks, and required actions.

Expansion & Growth of Hexagon Footprint

Identify, develop, and execute new growth opportunities within the strategic accounts.

Expand Hexagon’s presence across additional business units, workflows, and geographies inside the customer’s organization.

Collaborate with product and solution teams to position Hexagon technologies and value propositions that address emerging customer needs.

Own and drive renewal strategies and long‑term partnership agreements.

Customer Advocacy & Value Delivery

Ensure delivery excellence across all ongoing projects, services, and deployments.

Monitor customer satisfaction and take proactive steps to address issues before they escalated.

Communicate customer feedback, strategic initiatives, and long‑term needs back to Hexagon leadership to shape internal priorities and product strategy.

Account Governance & Business Management

Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management for assigned accounts.

Track key performance indicators associated with account health, growth, and customer engagement.

Ensure contractual obligations are met and support negotiation of renewals, expansions, and multi‑year agreements.

Education / Qualifications

Proven success managing large, strategic, or enterprise‑level accounts, ideally with C‑suite engagement.

Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, presentation, and executive storytelling.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate across complex internal organizations and lead through influence.

Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and business planning capabilities.

Demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce and other CRM platforms, with the ability to leverage tools to drive efficiency, accuracy, and business outcomes.

Willingness to Travel 40-50%

Experience operating in a technology or solutions‑driven environment strongly preferred.

Preferred: Experience working with Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) firms or within the broader Capital Projects market; understanding of industry workflows, challenges, and project lifecycles.
