PRIMARY PURPOSE Evaluate and provide leadership for the curriculum & instructional department, implement instructional programs, and support effective teaching and learning across the district.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master's degree
Mid-Management Certificate or Principal Standard Certificate, preferred
Certified in Texas Teacher Evaluation & Support System (T-TESS), preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction best practices
Ability to interpret data and evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Ability to implement policies and procedures
Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Experience Three years campus administrative or instructional leadership experience, preferred
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors
Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including personal computer and peripherals
Posture: Prolonged sitting; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting
