About the role We are looking for a Director of Delivery HPC to lead the delivery of highly critical strategic projects across HPC, AI and Quantum environments within a European scope (France, Germany, UK, Czech Republic, Netherlands).

You will manage senior expert teams across multiple countries, ensure operational excellence on the most sensitive projects, and act as the primary escalation point in complex technical or contractual situations.

This role combines senior leadership, delivery management under high pressure, strong HPC technical credibility, and direct interactions with top management as well as Factory and R&D organizations.

Responsibilities / Missions

Leadership & Delivery Management

Lead the delivery of critical HPC projects across HPC, AI and Quantum environments.

Manage senior technical expert teams across multiple countries (N+2 management level).

Ensure team performance, engagement and alignment on highly critical projects.

Deliver very recent technologies in high-pressure operational contexts.

Technical Leadership & Escalation Management

Provide credible HPC technical leadership on complex and critical architectures.

Act as the primary escalation point for technical and contractual issues. Secure delivery in high business and political constraint contexts.

Cross-functional Coordination & Governance

Streamline interactions with Factory and R&D organizations.

Structure and drive escalation operating models.

Ensure reliable execution on the most sensitive projects in the portfolio.

Required profile Education & Experience

Engineering degree or equivalent (Master’s level)

12–15+ years of experience in complex technical environments

Strong background in HPC

Skills Must have

HPC experience (complex environments, critical architectures)

Delivery leadership of large multi-country strategic programs

Management of expert teams at N+2 level Technical and contractual escalation management

Nice to have

Exposure to AI and/or Quantum environments

Knowledge of Factory and R&D organizations

Governance of projects with institutional or governmental stakes

Experience on projects with strong technological sovereignty constraints

Languages & Mobility

Fluent English required (written and spoken) – German is a plus but not required

International mobility required (around 1 trip per month)
