Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Executive Sales Director to lead business development and sales initiatives across our portfolio of fashion publications, events, and experiential offerings.
This highly entrepreneurial, relationship‑driven role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on execution. The ideal candidate is a well‑connected industry professional with a strong network in fashion, beauty, and luxury lifestyle sectors and a proven track record in multi‑channel media sales.
You will drive revenue through innovative print, digital, event, and experiential programs while managing client relationships and collaborating across internal teams to deliver maximum value.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales
Lead all sales and business development initiatives for core publications and events
Identify and secure new sponsors and advertisers across fashion, beauty, luxury, hospitality, and lifestyle categories
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and key accounts
Oversee proposal development and pitch processes to ensure strategic and creative excellence
Revenue Growth & Expansion
Partner with management to identify and convert organic growth opportunities
Define revenue targets, pricing structures, and forecasting models
Track and analyze pipeline performance, conversion rates, and revenue metrics
Drive expansion within existing client relationships
Omnichannel Strategy
Design and deliver custom omnichannel marketing activations and branded programs
Develop integrated media packages including print, digital, content, and event sponsorships
Maximize client return on investment through innovative campaigns
Market Strategy & Positioning
Support refinement of market positioning and go‑to‑market strategy following the merger
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs
Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, conferences, and forums
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and mentor a high‑performing growth and sales team
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance
Partner with editorial, creative, events, and operations teams to ensure alignment
Ensure seamless execution from strategy to delivery
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client leadership at the Director level or above
Experience in fashion media, publishing, or luxury lifestyle industries preferred
Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑channel sales pipelines
Expertise in selling integrated media and experiential packages
Demonstrated success in expanding client bases and securing major accounts
Strong strategic, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
