
Director of Chapter Relations - Western Region

Our Chapter Relations team is a vital component of our strategic operations at the American Inns of Court. This team is focused on our primary strategic goal: to ensure a high-quality member experience. This goal is accomplished largely through successful local chapters. The Director of Chapter Relations for the western region is responsible for:
Building and maintaining strong, supportive, consultative relationships with chapter leaders throughout the region
Creating awareness and facilitating usage of chapter-focused programs and services
Encouraging knowledge sharing among chapter leaders
Facilitating the organization of new chapters
Identifying opportunities for new chapters
This position will be based in the Western US, preferably convenient to a major hub airport to facilitate travel throughout the region. Candidate should be set up for fully remote work with reliable Internet service.
This position requires:
Strong interpersonal and
communication skills,
including both oral and written communications. There are occasional
public speaking
requirements.
Planning
and organizational skills, including ability to prioritize projects and balance multiple tasks with varied deadlines.
Ability to acquire a significant body of knowledge and
apply that knowledge
appropriately as circumstances warrant.
Ability to
travel frequently
(approximately 50% of the time on average) throughout the region (states include AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, KS, MT, NM, NV, OK, OR, UT, WA, WY, and Japan).
Ability to work independently at times, as well as part of a collaborative team.
Proficiency with technology, including office productivity and database applications.
