This position is a critical part of the Neuroscience CAPLYTA® marketing team. The individual in this position will be responsible for CAPLYTA® executional strategy and tactical implementation supporting the adjunctive major depression disorder and bipolar indication for all personal promotion targeting healthcare professionals.
The Product Director Will
- Own the development and implementation of CAPLYTA®’s healthcare professional strategic messaging roadmap for new data releases, message shaping, and presentation across multiple promotional channels
- Lead executional healthcare professional brand strategy and tactical pull-through by working across medical, legal, regulatory, and compliance colleagues
- Effectively partner with sales training to ensure optimal training on assets and provide guidance on executional priorities to drive impactful execution
- Provide strategic input to mold market research and analytics needs and leverage direct customer and field feedback to identify insights that will shape strategy and tactical execution
- Lead competitive strategy development and support organizational pull-through
- Lead and manage the agency of record as well as other agencies to develop and execute marketing strategy, the tactical plan, and tactical content development
- Be a connector across CAPLYTA® cross‑functional teams as well as other JNJ Neuroscience brands to meet evolving business needs and support a culture of collaboration

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is required; MBA is preferred
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience, including pharmaceutical and healthcare knowledge
- Psychiatry and/or mental health experience preferred
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales, Marketing, Access, Managed Care Account Management and/or related fields
- Strong marketing proficiency, project management and executive communication skills required along with demonstrated presentation skills.
- Proven ability to influence without authority and drive impactful cross‑functional collaboration in large groups
- A demonstrated ability to be proactive, work within a team environment, and lead multiple agencies/partners and external stakeholders is required
- Experience leading teams through change and transformation, product launches, and exceptional communication and leadership skills is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies such as strategic thinking, insight generation, big picture orientation, attention to detail, and analytical skills
- Must be innovative, proactive, and have excellent business acumen
This position is based in Titusville, NJ and may require up to 20% domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00
Additional Description For Pay Transparency
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Benefits
- Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
- Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
- Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
- Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period 10 days
- Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
- Military Spouse Time‑Off – 80 hours per calendar year
