At Peabody Properties, we don’t just manage buildings; we build communities. We are seeking a detail‑oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team in managing a mix of market and affordable communities in Taunton, MA.
The Assistant Property Manager partners with the Property Manager and acts as the direct backup in all aspects of site operations, from marketing vacant units to overseeing vendor relations.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has previous experience working at conventional market communities and has knowledge of or has worked directly with LIHTC recertification or voucher administration.
Requirements of the Position
Knowledgeable with respect to conventional and affordable housing programs, including affordable Housing, LIHTC, federally assisted, and all State and local housing regulations.
Possesses high‑touch service required for conventional market properties while respecting the strict guidelines of affordable housing.
Exceptional verbal and written skills.
Self‑motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks independently in a busy office setting.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 3 years in property management, specifically with a strong background in marketing and knowledge of LIHTC and/or affordable housing programs.
Extensive knowledge of OneSite, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong communication, organizational, writing, and computer skills.
