Our Rescue’s mission is to end human trafficking and child exploitation while empowering survivors to reclaim their lives and thrive on their healing journey. Description
This role provides senior‑level, hands‑on operational support at the intersection of
law enforcement collaboration, technology‑enabled child protection, survivor‑informed engagement, and global operational support . It is designed to increase execution speed, reduce fragmentation, and strengthen credibility with practitioner communities. The selectee for this position will be expected to build and maintain relationships within global practitioner and technical communities relevant to child protection and cyber‑enabled harm reduction; to create pathways for international collaboration, shared learning, and partner credibility aligned with organizational strategy and operating realities; and support knowledge exchange and adoption of effective practices across borders. Success is measured by practical operational lift: improved and higher‑impact partner outcomes, stronger capability, faster problem resolution, and real‑world execution that enables teams to deliver. Key Responsibilities
Global Capacity Building & Overseas Operational Support
Provide hands‑on operational support to international and overseas initiatives, aligned with Our Rescue’s global presence and partnerships. Collaborate with international operations and survivor care professionals to effectively engage with foreign law enforcement, international task forces, and regional partners to strengthen technical capability, coordination, and trust in complex operating environments. Support the development and delivery of training, technology adoption, and operational approaches that are regionally appropriate, legally grounded, and culturally informed. Help translate U.S.-based expertise, tools, and methodologies into effective international application while avoiding one‑size‑fits‑all approaches. Assist executive leadership in navigating cross‑border challenges, including jurisdictional complexity, partner readiness, and operational friction. Support work focused on reducing harm by targeting offender ecosystems and incentives, including monetization pathways, recruitment pipelines, and enabling dependencies. Prioritize approaches that are lawful, survivor‑centered, and partner‑aligned, moving beyond reactive, case‑by‑case response. Training, Education & Scalable Instructor Development
Collaborate with the Our Rescue Training & Prevention team in the development and scaling of law‑enforcement training that improves real‑world outcomes. Help build repeatable delivery models (national cadres, professional cohorts, train‑the‑trainer approaches, and regional delivery) that extend beyond specialized units to first‑contact roles. Ensure training remains technically updated, survivor‑informed, operationally credible, and aligned with investigative realities and field conditions. Law Enforcement Engagement (Mission Support)
Collaborate with global mission teams by advising on technical applications with domestic and international law enforcement partners to strengthen collaboration, trust, and follow‑through. Provide hands‑on operational expertise to flagship law‑enforcement‑facing initiatives, including orchestrating ICAC Connect and Interstate Justice Coalition initiatives through strengthened partnership and improved external stakeholder confidence. Support key law enforcement engagement initiatives through practitioner engagement, feedback translation, coordination support, and problem‑solving—ensuring the program remains grounded in investigative reality and responsive to ICAC and human trafficking task force needs. Help remove operational, coordination, or technical obstacles that slow investigations, training adoption, or partner workflows. Translate practitioner needs into actionable support across technology, training, and coordination—without duplicating existing leadership or over‑promising capability. Practitioner‑Driven Innovation & Capability Building
Help design, strengthen, or operationalize internal capability to test, evaluate, and operationalize tools, workflows, and technical approaches used in child protection and cyber‑enabled harm response. Drive rapid, practitioner‑informed problem solving using short‑cycle delivery, pilot testing, and real‑world validation. Ensure innovation efforts remain grounded in operational reality, rooted in fiscal responsibility and focused to produce practical outputs for long‑term adoption by practitioners. Strategic Communications & Public‑Facing Mission Amplification
Participate in public education and mission amplification through interviews, speaking engagements, and media participation in coordination with organizational leadership and communications. Host or co‑host conversations (including podcasts and interviews) that elevate practitioner voices, survivor perspectives (when appropriate), and organizational expertise. Serve as one of several public‑facing voices, amplifying others and strengthening credibility without positioning as the sole spokesperson. Required Qualifications
Proven experience in child exploitation and anti‑human trafficking environments. High credibility with Our Rescue’s partner communities. Proven ability to operate effectively across functions. Strong judgment, adaptability, and comfort working in ambiguous contexts. Experience working with or alongside law enforcement or child protection practitioners. Exposure to technology‑enabled operations or digital tools in mission‑driven contexts. Experience incorporating survivor‑informed or trauma‑informed principles into all aspects of work. Action‑oriented and collaboration minded. Trusted collaborator who builds credibility quickly. Excellent communication skills – with the ability to effectively communicate to various audiences. Exemplifies the Our Rescue core values. Benefits
Our Rescue offers competitive pay, generous paid time off, wellness days, and paid holidays, along with comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings with employer match, and other valuable benefits—all while working alongside a passionate team dedicated to making a meaningful impact.
