We are seeking a
Commercial Mortgage Loan Analyst
to support a $5.5B+ commercial real estate loan portfolio across multiple U.S. property types. This role blends loan underwriting, origination support, and ongoing portfolio surveillance, offering exposure to complex transactions and senior-level decision making in a fast-paced institutional environment.
What You Will Do
Underwrite and analyze new commercial real estate loan opportunities, including review of operating statements, rent rolls, borrower financials, and collateral data
Build financial models, perform cash flow, and credit analysis to support loan structuring and recommendations
Prepare credit memoranda and present analyses for internal approval committees
Support loan origination efforts by collaborating with brokers, intermediaries, and internal/external stakeholders
Monitor an assigned loan portfolio, including annual reviews, covenant compliance, and watchlist reporting
Assist with loan modifications, extensions, and servicing requests requiring risk analysis and underwriting input
Participate in property inspections and market visits as needed (approximately 10–15% travel)
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or related field
Demonstrated work experience in commercial real estate lending, underwriting, portfolio management, or related finance roles
Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
Solid understanding of commercial real estate finance and loan structures
Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with ARGUS Enterprise or similar underwriting tools is a plus (not required)
CFA, CCIM, or MBA a plus but not required
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
