Job Description Assistant Health and Wellness Director / Assistant Dir. of Nursing (RN) – covering Gables and Reflection locations in Brick Township, NJ.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,000 Yearly

As the Assistant Health and Wellness Director / ADON, you will collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services to plan, organize, and direct the overall clinical operations of the nursing department, ensuring comprehensive care for residents in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the position, department, and personnel.

Develop and implement active wellness programs for residents in collaboration with the Activity Director.

Maintain resident files in an orderly manner and document all pertinent resident information.

Prepare resident charges and reports for Director approval and billing.

Assess residents within 90 days prior to move‑in and annually thereafter, or as conditions change.

Develop initial Individual Service Plans (ISP) within 72 hours of move‑in, comprehensive ISP within 30 days, and update annually or as needed.

Oversee resident care provided by the nursing department.

Investigate all resident and family complaints or concerns regarding the nursing department, report findings, and ensure resolution.

Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate all nursing staff.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current NJ nursing license (RN) in good standing.

Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience in Senior Living, Assisted Living, Long‑Term Care, or Skilled Care.

Proficiency in computer skills: Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and ability to learn new applications.

Physical Abilities

Job requires standing, walking, sitting, using fine and gross motor skills, reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, and smelling.

Must lift or carry up to 50 lbs intermittently, performing resident support. Proper body mechanics required.
