Job Summary We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented
Professional Landscape Architect (PLA)
to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineers, planners, and environmental specialists to design sustainable and functional outdoor spaces for public infrastructure, commercial developments, and residential projects across the Treasure Valley and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Develop conceptual and detailed landscape designs for a variety of civil engineering projects.
Prepare site plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Conduct site analysis including environmental impact assessments and land use planning.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Use CAD and 3D modeling software to produce design presentations and construction documents.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
Licensed as a Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) in Idaho
(or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months).
5+ years of professional experience preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and GIS tools.
Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with native plant selection and sustainable design practices.
Familiarity with Idaho's climate, topography, and zoning regulations.
LEED accreditation or similar sustainability credentials.
