
Senior Account Executive, Multicultural Expertise

The Lede Company, a global full-service communications agency, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join the team in our New York or Los Angeles office. The SAE will play an integral role in supporting accounts for a wide variety of Beverage and Lifestyle clients with a primary focus on Hispanic and African American markets. The role will generally support 5 - 8 retainer accounts and projects. Hybrid schedule.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Help develop and pitch compelling stories and narratives with a multicultural focus on behalf of clients to secure consistent product-centric coverage and overall develop strong brand awareness
Work with account leads to manage client programs and campaigns from planning to execution with a multicultural lens
Write, proof and edit a variety of PR and marketing materials with culturally relevant narratives
Oversee coordinators, assistants, and at times interns, to review client agendas, recap reports and clips, while also mentoring junior staff
Communicate with clients regularly and build a relationship with them, while helping handle day-to-day client tasks
Help develop and ideate client PR strategies such as client messaging, media + influencer targets, creative seeding ideas, etc. with a multicultural lens
Work alongside partner teams within the agency, as well as client partner agencies
Support onsite at events, coordinate logistics at all stages of programming, and coordinate retail promotions
Contribute to monthly, project, and/or event reporting and recaps across all clients
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations or Marketing
Experience engaging Hispanic and African American communities
Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
Business acumen with the ability to communicate across departments within the organization
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
Strong attention to detail
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing
